Hey Parents and Dancers!
I hope you’re all enjoying the nice fall weather! October is a big month for me. Today is my birthday (YAY!) and even bigger than that, October 17 is Riversong’s One Year Anniversary! It’s hard to believe it’s been one year since we started classes. The next time you’re at the studio, make sure you look through the photo album on the registration table in the lobby to see how far we’ve come. Thanks so much to all of you for trusting us with your dancer’s training!
I didn’t send out a September Newsletter, so I have a few things I wanted to let everyone know about:
Tap Classes on the Chopping Block!
Due to lack of enrollment in our Beginner and Intermediate Tap classes, they will be cancelled beginning November 1 if no one enrolls. I understand that many of you were interested in Tap but put off enrolling until after other activities’ seasons ended. Now is the time to register if you are at all interested in Tap! If you’re curious about the classes but not ready to enroll, feel free to drop in this week or next week to try it out. (The Advanced class is not being cancelled and still has room for more dancers.) Ms. Jennifer wants to see you in class!!
No Class on Saturday, Oct. 20 OR Oct. 31
Many of our dancers were out on Fall Break last week and hopefully the nice weather will hold out for the Knox County Fall Break on Thursday and Friday. We will have class on Thursday, October 18, but NO CLASS on Saturday, October 20. I will be in Chattanooga at a dance conference learning lots of new things to bring back to class! I’m very excited to go and be a student for the weekend.
We will also be closed on Halloween as many of our dancers miss class that night. We will still have Adult Ballet, but there will be no Zumba on Oct 31. Speaking of Halloween….
Costumes for Sale!
As many of you know, we have quite a few costumes for resale at the studio. All of these costumes are very reasonable priced and would make great Halloween Costumes or Dress-Up clothes. All of the dancewear is for sale by parents or dancers so this is a great way to get an awesome costume and help out a parent in our dance community!
Thanks to everyone for your on-time tuition payments. If you pay tuition after the 10th of the month, there is a $10 late fee due. Last year I was very lenient with charging this fee, but this year I’m going to have to be much more strict. Now that our enrollment has doubled in size and I have hired additional teachers, your on-time payments are more important than ever!! If you have any questions about payments, please let me know.
Still Registering Dancers!
While our enrollment has doubled, we still have room in many of our classes. If you know any dancers that would be interested in registering, please send them our way!
Thank you again for your continued support! We couldn’t do it without you!!!
